Teaching Internship (Offline)
About Art Beat: Art Beat is a 5-star rated Art School in HSR, Bangalore. Our unique curriculum uses technology & art to teach kids. We are currently accepting interns as Art Faculty Interns in HSR Layout. This is a paid internship.
Internship duration - 3 months - You need to choose 3 months starting August, September 2023. June, July & August internship program is now closed.
Our primary approach is to offer safe and structured activities in age-appropriate environments where children are encouraged to learn, play, explore and discover. Our aim is to help each child realize his or her hidden potential that appears enveloped even after attending school
We are looking for passionate interns (teaching staff) who can help us build a strong community of budding artists.
You can apply even if you are a fresher provided you are skilled in different forms of art.
Art Intern (Art Internship)
What will you learn during the internship?
Multiple artforms, access to all online and offline sessions taken by our instructors
Learn how to teach kids from different age groups as per the art school curriculum both Online & Offline.
Learn how to Plan and prepare worksheets, and access the art worksheet online on Google classroom.
Learn how to make the school and interesting and engaging place for students to work.
Learn how to share periodic feedback with kids about their artwork.
Get hands-on experience teaching kids & assisting teachers who will be teaching adults.
Get hands-on experience taking workshops for adults and kids.
Helping & assisting main/lead teachers while teaching.
Following on feedback from lead teachers, managing worksheets, keeping track of student progress.
Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work.
Internship stipend - INR 6,000 per month for 3 months
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Self-taught artists or a background in Art/Fine Arts
Looking for interns only
Excellent communication skills
Does not need to have any formal education in fine arts.
You can apply even if you are a fresher provided you are skilled in different forms of art.
Benefits
Monday to Saturday - 11 am to 7 pm (One Sunday per month will be a working day, compensatory off for the same will be given on a Monday)

Community management intern
What will you learn during the internship?
Learn how to manage and grow the art community
Work with artists, performers and creators
Manage Instagram, content on our website, content on our course, etc
Multiple artforms, access to all online and offline sessions taken by our instructors
Learn how to plan and manage events, workshops
Helping & assisting main/lead teachers while teaching.
Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work.

Marketing/content/business background
Self-taught artists or a background in Art/Fine Arts are also welcome

Important information before you apply for the internship program
1. Please ensure that you have read the internship description before applying. Failure of understanding the role result in disqualification from the application process of the internship program.
2. Please ensure that are available for a phone call for the screening round. You can expect a call between 2 - 4 pm on weekdays within 1 to 3 days of your application.
3. Please ensure that you share your recent artwork along with your resume in order for us to review you for the Art Intern role. The Community management role will not need to add a portfolio for the application process.
4. Please ensure that you are available for a physical interview. Most of our interviews are done on Saturdays between 12 pm to 1.30 pm.
5. Internship stipend and certificate will not be given if you leave the internship before the completion date. If you are not available fully during the internship period, please do not apply. Please respect and value your instructor and art school's time.
6. If you are applying from another city, please ensure that you have planned your accommodation close to the centre.
